Las Piñas BFP distributes mobile phones to firefighters for enhanced fire, emergency response

The Las Piñas Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) distributed 12 cellphones with SIM cards to 11 station fire engines and one ambulance to further boost their fire and emergency response capabilities.
Las Pinas BFP fire marshall Supt. Josephus Alburo said the distribution of cellular phones was made possible through the initiative of Sr. Insp. Ma. Kuisa Andrade.
The official said the distribution is part of the station’s efforts to improve communication, coordination, and operational efficiency during emergency responses.
He added the mobile phones will be used primarily for real-time location sharing, allowing responding units to accurately navigate to the exact location of fire incidents or emergencies.
Alburo explained that by equipping each fire engine with dedicated communication devices, the station "reinforces its commitment to leveraging technology for public safety and ensuring a more effective and coordinated firefighting operation across Las Piñas City."
