Korean actor Choi Jung-woo, who appeared in the drama “The Tale of Lady Ok,” passed away on May 27. He was 68.
Bless Entertainment, his agency, told Korean media, "We received news of his death this morning. He had a chronic illness. He had a hard time last year due to glaucoma."
He reportedly complained of panic disorder and depression but his agency said, "We are currently confirming the exact cause of death."
Choi Jung-woo, born in 1957, made his debut in the 1975 play “The Life of an Actor” and was also active as a stage and voice actor.
His acting credits include “The Tyrant,” "Marry Me Now," "Soul Mechanic, "Sisyphus: The Myth," "Be My Dream Family," "The Empire," "Curtain Call" and "Stealer: The Treasure Keeper."
