General Nakar assesses quake damage

GENERAL NAKAR, Quezon – The Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office has activated Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Committees to gather updates and reports from their areas about the earthquake here on Tuesday, May 27.

The MDRRMO conducted roving operations in several critical facilities to assess damage.

Consolidated reports said there were no reported casualties, injuries, or other incidents related to the earthquake.

The municipal engineer’s office is checking the municipal hall for damages sustained from the earthquake.

The MDRRMO reminded the people to remain alert and always prepared, not only for earthquakes but also for other types of disasters.
