Former 4Ps beneficiaries among top performers in March 2025 licensure exams for teachers

Five former beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) were among the top performers in the March 2025 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET), said the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
Jeanlyn Guinita Colipano from Carmen, Cebu, placed first in the LET–Secondary Level. 
She graduated cum laude from Cebu Technological University—Danao Campus with a degree in Bachelor of Secondary Education, majoring in General Science.
Venus Diane Reces Guerrero of Barangay Ladtingan, Pikit, Cotabato, secured the fifth spot in the LET–Elementary Level, while Kimverlie Yusores Momo of Barangay Poblacion, Alabel, Sarangani, placed sixth. 
Both are graduates of Mindanao State University-General Santos City, holding degrees in Bachelor of Elementary Education Major in General Education.
Another top performer was Nischelle Sagucio from Bataraza, Palawan, who ranked sixth in the LET-Secondary Level.
She graduated magna cum laude from Palawan State University-Main Campus.
Andrew Lyn De Vera of Binmaley, Pangasinan, secured the 10th spot in the LET–Secondary Level. He is a graduate of Pangasinan State University.
“We commend these five former 4Ps monitored children for their success. Their accomplishments are living proofs that the program continues to fulfill its mission of breaking the intergenerational cycle of poverty through education,” Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) spokesperson Assistant Secretary Irene Dumlao said in a statement on Tuesday, May 27.
“Their achievement highlights the positive impact of the 4Ps program in transforming lives and empowering youth through education,” she added.
They were part of the 4P’s monitored children, who received monthly educational grants ranging from P350 to P700, depending on the student’s grade level.
The 4Ps was launched in 2008 and institutionalized in 2019 through Republic Act 11310. 
It offers conditional cash transfers to eligible low-income households to support children’s education, health, and nutrition.
