Kendra Kramer gets candid about fashion, beauty, and what's next
The next-gen 'it' girl gave us a glimpse of her life beyond the spotlight
Teen sensation Kendra Kramer is undeniably one of this generation’s rising “it” girls. With her mom’s star power—actress Cheska Garcia-Kramer—and her dad’s athleticism—PBA player Doug Kramer—Kendra is a perfect mix of glam, grit, and grace. She’s got the looks, the talent, and most importantly, a kind and grounded demeanor.
At Penshoppe’s recent Moto-inspired collection event, we caught up with Kendra for a quick chat as she gave us a glimpse of her life beyond the spotlight.
How do you define your personal style?I try my best to incorporate different kinds of styles into one. But mostly, I would say it’s streetwear. I just like casual clothes and something that is comfortable but still looks cute. My style is very similar to my mom’s because she’s my fashion icon. A lot of my clothes also come from her closet.
What’s your go-to summer scent?I like the sweet, fruity scent, and I always gravitate toward that.
What’s your go-to fashion item?I love my flared jeans. I wear them a lot. Every time I don’t know what to wear, I immediately gravitate toward my flared jeans.
Do you share your items with your sister?Yeah, I do. It’s she who gets clothes from me because I am the older sister, and it’s fine. But sometimes I also go to her closet and borrow some clothes. My mom is very comfortable letting us pick any of her clothes.
Is being a beauty queen something you plan to do in the future?I think that's very intriguing and an option, but I just want to take it step by step. I’m not saying it’s a no or a yes, but it’s something I would like to pray to God about. Wherever He’ll take me, I’ll be grateful for it.
What are your three beauty must-haves?I like this question. Number one is lip liner. Two, my blush. Sometimes my friends would tell me, “Kendra, you have so much blush again.” But it’s my favorite thing. Third is lip gloss. I think you’ll never go wrong with lip gloss.
What’s your tip to young people who are still figuring out their personal style?Find what you like. If you love a certain kind of style, then just wear it and be confident.
What are your next projects? It’s an interesting question. I’m not in a rush to do anything. And it’s also up to what my parents want. Anything they want, I am also happy with. I’m taking it step by step because I am also busy with school, swimming, and my sports. So there are a lot of things going on.
