Man checking internet connection electrocuted to death

SIGAY, Ilocos Sur – A 38-year-old man was electrocuted to death while checking the internet connection of his house in Barangay San Elias here on Sunday night.
Police identified the victim as Conrad S. Ubuan.
Investigation disclosed that the victim went out of his house to check his internet connection after a rain shower.
Ubuan was barefoot and checking the wires when he was suddenly electrocuted.
He was taken to a hospital where he was declared dead.
Police said that the victim was possibly electrocuted by the wet and defective wire connection.
