'Kusina ng Las Piñas' serves 800 children with hot meals
The Las Pinas City Nutrition Office conducted a community-based feeding program serving 800 children with hot meals at the CAA Narra covered court in BF International/CAA.

Mayor April Aguilar said the city government’s “Kusina ng Las Pinas” mobile truck regularly conducts feeding programs around the city, targeting underserved communities to combat child malnutrition and alleviate hunger.The feeding program is among the city’s sustained measures to improve health among children during the school break and also to encourage greater community participation in promoting proper nutrition and child development.
The official noted that the food being served in the program was prepared by the city's nutritionist-dietitians and barangay nutrition scholars.
