376 couples marry in Zamboanga City mass wedding

ZAMBOANGA CITY – A total of 376 couples tied the knot in a mass wedding at the Tetuan Coliseum here on Saturday, May 24, organized by the city government through the City Social Welfare and Development Office and the Civil Registrar’s Office.
Mayor John Dalipe solemnized the ceremony with city hall officials standing as wedding sponsors.
The couples were from 98 barangays here divided into four clusters – 117 from Ayala, 116 from Santa Maria, 108 from Curuan, and 35 from Vitali.
The mass wedding, the second to be held during the Dalipe administration at Tetuan Coliseum, showed the local government’s commitment to strengthening love, unity, and family ties.
