What happens when you combine a professional basketball player, his fiancée, a camera, and a car full of surprises? You get Drive & Dares — a new online show featuring Chris Newsome and Cam Lagmay. It’s part road trip, part game night, and full of fun, laughter, and unexpected moments. The show brings fans closer to the couple, giving them the chance to take part in what happens on screen.
In each episode, Chris and Cam get into a fully branded car and hit the road. While driving, they answer unexpected questions from fans. But there’s a twist — if someone doesn’t want to answer, they have to complete a playful challenge. That could mean singing a random song, copying their partner’s behavior, or speaking in a funny accent. These dares bring out their personalities and keep every ride entertaining.
One of the fan-favorite segments is “Driver Karaoke.” A surprise song plays, and Chris or Cam has to sing along. If they forget the lyrics, they improvise — often with hilarious results. There are also a couple games, like guessing each other’s favorite things. Every wrong answer leads to a new challenge, adding even more fun to the drive.
Another creative part of the show is “Signs of Fate.” Regular road signs become triggers for new actions. A STOP sign might mean confessing something funny. A gas station sign could lead to a personal story. These small moments make the ride unpredictable and personal.
