Fugitive from Batangas nabbed in Nueva Ecija

CAMP GENERAL MIGUEL MALVAR, Batangas City – Police from Alitagtag, Batangas apprehended a man wanted for rape in Barangay Patola, Talugtug, Nueva Ecija on Thursday, May 22.
The suspect was identified as Edgardo, the fourth most wanted person on the regional level in the Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, and Quezon region.
No bail was recommended for his temporary liberty in the rape cases.
Edgardo was also charged with acts of lasciviousness with bail set at P180,000.
His warrants of arrest were issued by Judge Rose Marie J. Manalang-Austria, executive judge of the Regional Trial Court, 4th Judicial Region, Branch 87, Rosario, Batangas.
He is now in the custody of the Alitagtag police for proper disposition and processing.
