A family of three was killed in their home in Barangay Managok, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon on Wednesday night, May 21.

Police identified the victims as Jovany Andohon, 50; his wife Evangeline, 48, and 14-year-old son.
Investigation said unidentified men barged into the victims' house and hit them multiple times with a sledgehammer and steel pipe.
The victims were found on Thursday morning, May 22, with head injuries when the couple’s two other children aged eight and 10 who managed to hide during the incident informed authorities.
Police said the murder weapons were found nearby.
Lawmen said they have persons of interest in the killing and ruled out theft as motive as the victims’ valuables were untouched.
Malaybalay police chief Police Lt. Col. Joepet Paglinawan vowed justice for the victims and assured the public that they are doing their best to apprehend the perpetrators.
The two surviving chiIdren are undergoing counseling and in the custody of relatives.
