AC Health forges partnership with global medical tech firm Becton Dickinson
Ayala Healthcare Holdings, Inc. (AC Health) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for strategic collaboration with Becton Dickinson Holdings Pte Ltd (BD), a leading global medical technology company.
In a statement, AC Health said the MOU is focused on driving innovation, enhancing healthcare delivery, and improving patient outcomes across the Philippines and Southeast Asia.
This joint effort combines AC Health’s integrated healthcare ecosystem with BD’s global expertise in medical technology, focusing on key initiatives supporting clinical optimization, digital integration, supply chain efficiency, public health programs, research and development, and professional education.
The collaboration will concentrate on several key areas. To optimize patient care and operational effectiveness, AC Health and BD will work together on clinical consulting and workflow optimization, aiming to enhance efficiency and quality of care.
In healthcare innovation and digital transformation, the collaboration will introduce advanced technologies and digital solutions to AC Health’s network.
Furthermore, the collaboration will focus on enhancing supply chain and operational efficiency.
Recognizing the importance of public health, both organizations will engage in public health and disease management initiatives, including efforts for early disease detection, prevention, and treatment, with a specific focus on collaborative programs for infectious disease management and vaccination.
The collaboration also encompasses future research and development, where AC Health and BD will partner on exploring research projects and evidence generation.
Finally, to ensure high standards of care, the collaboration will prioritize training and education for healthcare professionals within the AC Health network.
