Shakey's revamps spinach pizza with creamier, more balanced version

Chain reintroduces the classic with more spinach, refined cheese blend, and new topping variants

Shakey’s Philippines has quietly rolled out a new version of its Creamy Spinach Pizza, offering a richer, more textured update of the longtime menu item. The revision includes a more generous portion of real spinach and a new blend of cheeses aimed at enhancing both flavor and mouthfeel.
The chain’s latest update moves away from overly thick spreads of cheese found in similar offerings, opting instead for a more even distribution that melts cleanly and complements rather than overpowers. The result is a spinach pizza that, while visibly familiar, carries a deeper flavor and smoother bite.
The pizza is available on both thin and hand-tossed crusts, with toppings distributed more deliberately—vibrant spinach strands and dollops of cheese are now baked into place rather than layered unevenly.
Among the fans of the newly tweaked recipe is Marian Rivera, an actress and Shakey’s endorser, who described herself as a spinach pizza lover.
The reworked base is also featured in several variations: a version with glazed bacon for a sweet-salty finish, one with shrimp for seafood fans, and another with mushrooms for an earthier, more umami-forward profile.
The updated Creamy Spinach Pizza is available at Shakey’s branches nationwide for dine-in, takeout, and delivery. Orders can also be placed via the Shakey’s Super App.
