PULILAN, Bulacan – The Social Housing Finance Corp. (SHFC), in partnership with the local government of Pulilan, Bulacan, officially launched the Mom’s Ville housing project under the Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (4PH) Program on May 16 at the Bukid Government Center in Batrangay Peñabatan.

Spearheaded by SHFC President and Chief Executive Officer Federico Laxa and Pulilan Mayor Maria Rosario Ochoa-Montejo, the event marked the formal commencement of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s flagship housing initiative in Pulilan, aimed at providing affordable, inclusive, and resilient housing for Pulileños, including low-income households.
Mom’s Ville earlier held its groundbreaking ceremony led by Marcos and Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) Secretary Jose Rizalino Acuzar,
underscoring the national government’s firm commitment to addressing the housing needs of Filipino families.
In his remarks, Laxa urged future homeowners to seize the opportunity and reaffirmed SHFC’s dedication to completing the project on time. “To all the beneficiaries, take advantage of this opportunity to secure a home for your family. I assure you that we will fast-track the completion of this project and deliver the homes you have long dreamed of,” he said.
Upon completion, Mom’s Ville will comprise eight five-story buildings that will accommodate over 1,000 families. The development will include commercial spaces and Kadiwa Centers, which will serve as hubs for livelihood opportunities for beneficiaries while ensuring convenient access to essential goods for the community.
Montejo thanked SHFC, noting the project fulfills a vision she has long held for her constituents. “The dream of providing safe and dignified homes for every Pulileño family is finally becoming a reality,” she said.
Following the program, officials, including DHSUD Assistant Regional Director Naiza Mae de los Santos, SHFC Support Cluster Senior Vice President Leo Deocampo, SHFC 4PH Central Luzon Head Prandy Vergara, SHFC Bulacan Manager Myrna Sipcon, and Pulilan Municipal Administrator Leovigildo Garcia conducted a site inspection to monitor ongoing construction.
Mom’s Ville, being developed by AVECS Corp., is among the over 80 projects that SHFC is actively implementing across the country. Among the notable projects include People’s Ville in Davao City, Crystal Peak Estates in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga; Valley View Township in Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental, and San Miguel de Manila Residences and Port Town in Manila.
