ILOILO CITY — The reelection of Uswag Ilonggo party-list led by Rep. James “Jojo” Ang Jr. was attributed to the votes that mainly came from Western Visayas region.

More than 700,000 of the 777,754 total votes garnered by Uswag Ilonggo came from the five provinces and regional capital of Western Visayas.
Uswag Ilonggo had the biggest number of votes in the province of Iloilo with 364,566 votes.
The regional capital of Iloilo City delivered 105,578 votes.
There were also 88,225 votes in Aklan province, 53,317 votes in Capiz province, 45,862 votes in Antique province, and 44,560 votes in Guimaras province.
Uswag Ilonggo will continue to strengthen socio-economic programs for Ilonggos.
These would include healthcare, social services, tourism, and infrastructure.
“Aton man padayon nga itib-ong ang mga mangunguma, mangingisda kag mga kabataang Ilonggo nga may dalagko nga handum (Let’s assist our farmers, fishermen and Ilonggo children with big aspirations),” Ang said in a statement.
