K-pop acts bag nominations at Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards 2025; Tyla to host show

Several K-pop artists are nominated in different categories at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards (KCAs) 2025.

Grammy winner Tyla will be hosting the show, which will premiere on Nickelodeon on June 25 at 5 p.m. SGT, celebrating fans’ favorites from across the worlds of film, television, music, sports and more. Encore telecasts will air on June 26, 3 p.m. SGT and June 28, 11:15 a.m. SGT.

Stray Kids and TWICE are nominated for Favorite Music Group. Stray Kids also got a nomination for Favorite Global Music Star. 

“APT.” by BLACKPINK’s Rosé and Bruno Mars is nominated for Favorite Music Collaboration. 

For Favorite Female Breakout Artist, the nominees include BLACKPINK’s Jennie, Lisa and Rosé. 

First-time nominees include Gracie Abrams, Zach Bryan, Jordan Chiles, Frankie Grande, Cynthia Erivo, Doechii, Keith Lee, Chappell Roan, Shaboozey, Shohei Ohtani, and Florence Pugh, among others.

Leading the pack with four nods each are Ariana Grande, Lady Gaga and Kendrick Lamar, followed by Jack Black, Dwayne Johnson, Selena Gomez and Jelly Roll, with three nominations each.  

This year’s show will feature exciting star-studded collaborations, skateboarding stunts, the latest in music with high-energy dancing, and Nickelodeon’s signature orange blimp trophy and epic slimings. 

Fans can cast their votes across 35 categories on the official Kids’ Choice Awards website, KidsChoiceAwards.com.
