2 men nabbed in drug buy-bust operation in Taguig

Two men, including a driver, were arrested by the police in a buy-bust operation in Taguig on May 19.

The Taguig police identified the arrested suspects as alias Jay, 44, a high value individual, and alias Orlando, 29, driver, a street level individual, who were nabbed in Barangay New Lower Bicutan.

They were arrested by operatives from the Taguig police’s Station Drug Enforcement Unit. The police confiscated 10 plastic sachets containing 54 grams of shabu worth P367,200, a genuine P1,000 bill used as marked money and six pieces of P1,000 boodle money.

The two were turned over to the Taguig police station for documentation.

The police will file a complaint against the suspects for violation of Republic Act No. 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
