TAIPEI, Taiwan — COMPUTEX 2025, Asia's premier technology trade show, officially opens tomorrow, May 20, at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, spotlighting the theme "AI Next." The four-day event, running through May 23, is set to host approximately 1,400 exhibitors across 4,800 booths, marking a significant return to full-scale in-person gatherings for the global tech industry.
Artificial intelligence takes center stage this year, with leading tech companies unveiling their latest advancements. Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang is scheduled to deliver the opening keynote at the Taipei Music Center, where he is expected to showcase the company's newest AI technologies, including AI server systems, cloud computing solutions, and robotics innovations.
Other industry giants, such as AMD, Qualcomm, and MediaTek, are also slated to present their AI-driven innovations, reflecting the event's focus on next-generation technologies. The exhibition will feature dedicated zones for AI & Robotics, Next-Gen Tech, and Future Mobility, providing attendees with insights into the evolving tech landscape.
Acer is making a significant impact at COMPUTEX 2025 by showcasing not only its latest IT products but also an expanded lineup of AI-powered consumer gadgets under its Acer Gadget division. Among the highlights is the FreeSense Ring, a titanium-based smart ring offering 24/7 biometric health monitoring, including heart rate, heart rate variability, blood oxygen levels, and sleep stage analysis.
Complementing the FreeSense Ring are the AI TransBuds, real-time, bi-directional translation earbuds supporting 15 major languages. These earbuds are designed to facilitate seamless communication, requiring only one person to wear them for effective translation. Additionally, Acer is introducing AI-integrated e-scooters and e-bikes, featuring innovative safety technologies and app controls, reflecting the company's commitment to integrating AI across various aspects of daily life
