Camille Villar thanks VP Sara Duterte for supporting successful Senate bid

Senator-Elect Camille Villar expressed her thanks to Vice President Sara Duterte for her unwavering support that led to her victory during the May 12 elections.

“Maraming maraming salamat, VP Inday Sara, for standing with me all the way. Your friendship and support—both personal and political—mean the world to me and my family,” she said.

“Walang iwanan, just like we’ve always promised each other. Here’s to standing together for the country and the people we’ve both pledged to serve,” added Villar.

On Saturday, she said she was also grateful for the support for her family and everyone who helped her survive the tedious 90-day campaign.

Camille Villar vowed to be a new voice in the Senate, working hard and standing up for what is right.

As a first-time senator, Camille Villar also committed not to disappoint, keeping in mind her promises to achieve the dreams of every Filipino and make their lives better.
