- AMA Education System (AMAES) is celebrating the success of its partnership with poll watchdog Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV) during the conduct of last week's 2025 mid-term elections.
During the election season--including days prior and after the actual polls--AMA had provided critical information technology (IT) support, computer equipment and audiovisual training materials to PPCRV, the command center of which was located at PLDT Building in Sampaloc, Manila.
AMA also provided PPCRV volunteers from over 200 campuses around the Philippines.
This assistance stemmed from a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between AMA and PPCRV earlier this year, when both sides renewed their commitment to promoting clean and honest elections through education and digital infrastructure.
"Corporate Social Responsibility is not just a checkbox for AMA Education System — it is the very heartbeat of our institution," AMAES Chairman Emeritus Amable Aguiluz said.
"Empowering communities through education and technology is our core mission, and it is through meaningful engagements like this that we bring that mission to life," he added.
AMA has a decades-long history of participation in the country's electoral process, dating back to the 1986 snap presidential elections.
Since then, AMA has played a key role in 14 national and local polls, including five automated elections, according to Aguiluz.
