Senator Loren Legarda has lauded her brother for securing a decisive victory as Representative of the Lone District of Antique during the recently concluded May 2025 midterm elections.
The senator said Antonio ‘AA’ Legarda’s triumph after securing a second term as representative of Antique is a victory for the people of the province. Legarda’s sibling garnered 210,491 votes in the province.
“It is with immense pride that I express my sincerest congratulations to my brother, Congressman AA, for gaining another chance to continue a legacy of what public service truly means,” Legarda said.
“His triumph during the election is a stern reminder for us to continue and further elevate the brand of leadership that is beneficial to the lives of every Antiqueño,” she stressed.
The veteran lawmaker assured she will continue to work with the office of Rep. Legarda in advancing more programs and projects that would benefit all Antiqueños.
“I can assure our people in the province that Congressman AA will be able to sustain all the projects that we have spearheaded,” she said.
“As we work together, we will continue to come up with inclusive programs, better opportunities, and a clearer vision for everyone,” the four-term senator added.
Legarda said she is thankful for the trust the public bestowed on her brother as his victory reinvigorates the mandate to combat poverty.
“I am grateful for the trust bestowed on my brother. This victory reinvigorates the mandate to combat the real enemy: poverty,” she said.
“We will both work relentlessly to ensure that policies and programs bring tangible benefits to our people, our kasimanwa,” she reiterated.
