Authorities arrest a man and confiscate P680,000 worth of shabu during a patrol operation in Antipolo City.

The Antipolo Component City Police identified the suspect as “Pablo,” 40, tagged as a high-value individual (HVI). He was arrested during a patrol operation around 4 a.m. along F. Manalo Street in Barangay San Roque.
Police said they noticed Pablo walking with a helmet and displaying suspicious behavior. When officers approached and asked where he was headed, he suddenly ran and threw away the black belt bag he was carrying.
Pat. Adonis Briola and Cpl. Allen Jeille Ciar quickly pursued the suspect after he ran off, which led to his arrest.
During his arrest, police also inspected the belt bag he threw and discovered around 100 grams of suspected shabu and a digital weighing scale.
Pablo is currently under the custody of the Antipolo PNP and is facing charges for violating Section 11 of Republic Act 9165.
“Makipagtulungan tayo laban sa illegal na droga. Kung may nalalaman, isumbong agad (Let us work together against illegal drugs. If you have any information, report it immediately),” the Antipolo police said.
