4 former 4Ps beneficiaries in Top 10 of May 2025 Nursing Licensure Exam
With hard work and support from the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps), four former beneficiaries have achieved a remarkable feat by placing in the Top 10 of the May 2025 Nursing Licensure Exam.
The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) on Sunday, May 18 commended Jamela Irish Casis from Aguilar, Pangasinan; Kyla Mae Narciza from Santo Domingo, Nueva Ecija; Samantha Joy Eco Cruz from Lingayen, Pangasinan; and Alyna Kyla See from Dagupan City, Pangasinan, for their accomplishment.
Casis secured 6th place, Narciza and Cruz shared 7th place, while See ranked 8th in the examination.
“The success of our former 4Ps monitored children has proven that the program is not just about assistance, but a strong bridge to success in life. Through 4Ps, we are investing in the youth,” DSWD spokesperson Assistant Secretary Irene Dumlao said.
“Each success story serves as an inspiration to our beneficiaries, the government, and our staff who continue to strive for real change,” she added.
Launched in 2008 and institutionalized in 2019 through Republic Act No. 11310, 4Ps provides conditional cash transfers to over four million households to keep children in school and ensure they receive health and nutrition support.
The DSWD also recognized earlier this year other former 4Ps beneficiaries who excelled in various licensure exams.
Sheila Jane Doles of the University of Northern Philippines placed 5th in the Licensure Examination for Midwives.
Mustafa Rescober Ali of Rizal Technological University ranked 2nd in the Licensure Examination for Electrical Engineering.
Jayvee Fuentebella of the Technological University of the Philippines-Visayas topped the Electronics Technician Licensure Examination.
Dumlao reaffirmed the agency’s commitment to improve and innovate its programs to break the cycle of poverty.
“The Filipino people can be assured that the DSWD will continue to promote programs that will truly uplift the living standards of our fellow countrymen,” she said.
