BACOLOD CITY – The Commission on Elections proclaimed the winning candidates in Siquijor province on Tuesday, May 13.

Gov. Jake Vincent Villa was reelected for his second term.
Lawyer Dindo Tumala, member of the Provincial Board in the second district, was elected new vice governor.
Villa’s father, Rep. Zaldy Villa, was also reelected.
The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG)-Negros Island Region (NIR) congratulated other newly elected officials – Ruth Aque, Enrique Villanueva town; Cyrus Vincent Calibo, Larena; Phil Moore Largo, Lazi; Roselyn Asok, Maria; Rubilyn Ragay, San Juan, and Adam Duhaylungsod, capital Siquijor.
Siquijor is now part of the newly-established region.
The Commission on Elections (Comelec)-NIR said Siquijor had a 91.84 percent or 74,758 voter turnout.
