P20/kilo rice now being sold in Laguna Kadiwa

SANTA ROSA CITY, Laguna – Rice for P20 per kilo can now be purchased here following the launching of the Kadiwa ng Pangulo on Friday, May 16.

It is available to consumers from various sectors, and many residents here have taken advantage of the sale of cheaper rice, especially senior citizens, Persons with Disabilities, solo parents, and Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) beneficiaries.
The Kadiwa ng Pangulo also sells fruits and vegetables, food items, clothes, and handicrafts from various towns and cities in the Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, and Quezon region.
The city government Santa Rosa, through its agriculture office, supports the sale of the P20 rice and the holding of the regular Kadiwa ng Pangulo in line with the directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. to expand public access to affordable and quality rice.
