The father of a prominent member of the British royal family is living in the Philippines, particularly Cebu, a British tabloid reported recently.

Mirror reported in an article that Thomas Markle, father of Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex and wife of Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, and her older half-brother Thomas Jr., are in the island-province.
The report said Thomas, 80, a former Hollywood lighting director, is living on a P37,000 (£500) a month apartment and being taken care of by Thomas Jr.
The report also showed a photo of Thomas sitting alone and outside a supermarket near his new home.
The Markles lived in a three-star hotel in Cebu before moving into an apartment with their prized possessions, among them family photos featuring Meghan.
“I am ready for a change. I have felt stuck in a rut for some time and I am ready to meet new people and experience kindness,” Thomas told a British national daily newspaper of his decision to move to the Philippines.
Thomas was a resident of Mexico before transferring to Cebu.
