Local winners of the recent midterm elections in Binangonan, Rizal held a morning victory motorcade to personally thank the public for their support in the May 12 polls.

Russel Guiller, son of the outgoing Binangonan Mayor Cesar Ynares, ran unopposed in the vice mayoral race. He garnered a total of 78,066 votes.
His cousin, Rhea Ynares, daughter of outgoing Vice Mayor Cecilio “Boyet” Ynares, was proclaimed the new mayor of the lakeshore municipality. She also ran unopposed and got 82,101 votes.
The elected municipal councilors are Coco Antiporda, Doc Lito dela Cuesta, Tingting Cerda, Engineer Bien Ojeda, Linggit Rivera, Ruben Magdalena, Boy Cequeña, and Jane Apostadero.
Musician Russel Guiller, a member of the New Direction band, used to be the municipal administrator prior to filing his certificate of candidacy. He also worked at the Rizal Provincial Government as provincial administrator.
The vice mayor-elect said he is grateful for the support of all those who helped in pursuing his candidacy. “Lubos ko pong pinahahalagahan ang inyong pagtitiwala at paggabay sa akin upang maging inyong Bise. Ito po ay isang karangalan at isa ring misyong aking gagampanin nang may buong sipag at katapatan hanggang sa aking buong makakaya ( I deeply appreciate your trust and guidance to be your vice mayor. This is an honor and also a mission that I will fulfill with diligence and honesty to the best of my ability)."
Blue and white balloons decorated the vehicles carrying the winners, who were in their campaign vest during the motorcade.
