Operatives from the Northern Police District (NPD) and Caloocan City Police Station (CCPS) arrested a 42-year-old man for selling fake dishwashing products on Thursday, May 16, in Caloocan City.
Police said the suspect was nabbed at around 12:15 p.m. inside the establishment on Moscow Street in Barangay 167.
He was brought to the police station after undergoing medical examination at Caloocan City Medical Center (CCMC).
Authorities recovered 116 containers of fake “Sik-sik Do-It-Yourself” dishwashing paste -- 14 liters each -- and two-liter containers, in assorted variants, from the establishment.
The suspect will face charges for violating Republic Act No. 8293 (The Intellectual Property Code of the Philippines).
