PDEA: P4-M worth of shabu seized, top drug suspect nabbed in Caloocan City buy-bust

An alleged high-value drug suspect was arrested by the authorities after he was caught with P4.08 million “shabu” during a buy-bust operation in Caloocan City on Thursday night, May 15.
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) identified the suspect as alias “Abdul”, a high-value target (HVT).
The PDEA said the suspect was collared around 6:25 p.m. in an open parking lot of a restaurant in North Caloocan after allegedly selling illegal drugs to an undercover agent.
The PDEA seized an estimated 600 grams of shabu from the suspect and the buy-bust money.
The operation was carried out by the PDEA Regional Office 4-A Special Enforcement Team 1 (SET 1), PDEA Regional Office (RO)-National Capital Region (RSET 1), and the Philippine National Police (PNP) Substation 14 Caloocan.
The suspect faces charges for violation of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs), Article II of Republic Act (RA) 9165 otherwise known as “The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.”
