OMEN launches the Playground to even out the field

Omen, HP’s gaming division, has launched the first in Southeast Asia, the Omen Concept Store. 

The store will fully launch starting May 23. HP said the first ten buyers will receive discounts and additional freebies as part of the store’s celebratory opening. 

The Omen Playground sports both HP and Omen branded products, from Victus to HyperX.

HyperX products include their gaming mice such as the Saga and Pulsefire, headphones such as the Cloud Stinger 2, and microphones, which includes the Quadcast 2S and the Duocast.

During the launch of the Concept Store, HP took the opportunity to boast Omen AI, an optimization tool to enhance players’ gaming experience. With a single click, Omen AI will understand your hardware, OS, and game settings to optimize FPS and performance. 

HP justifies the Omen AI as an opportunity for gamers to take back their time, as the tool can make all the adjustments to ensure the best possible outcome with your system, without going through the internet, searching and asking questions for every possible tweak.

Right now, from HP’s own website, Omen AI supports Counter Strike 2 and League of Legends. Coming soon, HP will roll out support for Valorant, Fortnite, Apex Legends, Dota 2, Cyberpunk 2077, Forza Horizon 5, Rainbow Six Siege, and PUBG: Battlegrounds. 

Let’s cross fingers that Doom: The Dark Ages someday make it to the list.
