NUSTAR Resort Cebu celebrates third anniversary, unveils new ultra-luxury hotel

NUSTAR Resort and Casino unveiled its newest crown jewel—the ultra-luxurious NUSTAR Hotel—on May 8, 2025 in Cebu. The 223-room property marks a major milestone for the resort, embodying a refined blend of world-class accommodations, modern elegance, and heartfelt Filipino hospitality.

Gracing the hotel’s launch were Department of Tourism Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco and Robinsons Land Corporation (RLC) president and CEO Mybelle V. Aragon-GoBio, along with other key Nustar and RLC executives: CFO Churros Maranan, cluster director of Sales and Marketing Cristina Ong-Cruz, general manager Roel Constantino, business unit general manager Barun Jolly, and COO Sean Knights.

The hotel launch was part of the resort’s celebration that began on May 3, when NUSTAR marked its third anniversary with a glittering gala at its grand ballroom. Over 1,000 elegantly dressed guests from across the country gathered for the festivities. Among the notable attendees were Tessa Prieto, Pinky Tobiano, Juancho Robles, Tim Yap, Carlo Antonio, Cat Arambulo-Antonio, Camille Co, Joni Koro, Joanne Rae Ramirez, Archie Carrasco, Randolph Palanca, Peewee Reyes-Isidro, PJ Cana, and many more.

“As we mark NUSTAR Resort Cebu’s third anniversary, we proudly uphold our status as the first and only premier integrated resort in the Visayas and Mindanao, setting the gold standard for luxury and innovation,” said Knights.

The evening sparkled with live performances from National Artist Ryan Cayabyab and music legend Basil Valdez, whose timeless songs delighted the crowd and added to the event’s grandeur.
