Carl Tamayo played for the entire game but the numbers he churned out were not enough and the Changwon LG Sakers absorbed a heartbreaking 54-51 loss to the Seoul SK Knights in Game 6 of the Korean Basketball League (KBL) Finals on Thursday, May 15.

With both squads struggling offensively early on, the Knights only managed to pull away in the second quarter behind an 18-7 run to build a 29-17 lead which they preserved until final horn to tie the series at 3-3.

The much-awaited Game 7 is scheduled Saturday, May 17, with Seoul shooting for a fourth crown, while Changwon going all out for its first-ever KBL title.

Despite playing for 40 minutes for the first time since joining the club last year, Tamayo tallied only 13 points, seven rebounds, one assist, and three steals.

Two players from Seoul registered double-double efforts with Jameel Warney listing 15 points and 11 rebounds with five assists, three blocks and one steal, while An Young-Jun collecting 10 points and 10 rebounds.
