CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro – The Provincial Board of Canvassers has officially proclaimed the winners in the May 12 elections in this province.
Proclaimed were Reps. Arnan C. Panaligan and Alfonso V. Umali Jr. of the first and second districts, respectively.
Panaligan ran unopposed while Rep. Umali defeated Vice Gov. Ejay Falcon.

Also proclaimed were reelected Gov. Humerlito A. Dolor who will serve his third and last term and Vice Gov.-elect Jojo Perez, who defeated Gov. Dolor’s brother, former Provincial Administrator Hubert Dolor.
Elected to the provincial board in the first district were former Calapan City Vice Mayor Voltaire Brucal, Rona Leachon, Alely Casubuan, Fay Ilano, and Ryan Arago.
On the provincial board in the second district were Pau Umali, Roland Ruga, Jom Dimapilis, Anthony Yap, and Manny Buenaventura.
In the provincial capital Calapan City, Mayor Marilou Morillo lost to former Rep. Salvador Leachon. Vice Mayor Rommel Ignacio was reelected. He defeated former Judge Edgardo Padilla.
Winning senators in the province were Bam Aquino, Erwin Tulfo, Bong Go, Kiko Pangilinan, Lito Lapid, Ping Lacson, Tito Sotto, Manny Pacquiao, Pia Cayetano, Bong Revilla, Ben Tulfo, and Ronald de la Rosa.
Winning party lists were FPJ Panday Bayanihan, ACT-CIS, Tingog, Akbayan, and 4Ps.
