2 gang members arrested for carnapping in Sta. Cruz, Manila

Two suspected members of the “Commando Gang” were arrested in Sta. Cruz, Manila, in connection with the theft of a motorcycle.
Arrested were Andrew Zshornack, 23, of Sampaloc, Manila, and Lawrence Tapia, 20, of Sta. Cruz, Manila.
According to a report from MPD Sta. Cruz Police Station (PS-3), the incident occurred around 3:20 a.m. on Tuesday, May 13, along Felix Huertas Street, Barangay 382, Sta. Cruz, where the suspects allegedly spotted a black Honda Click motorcycle parked with its key still inserted in the ignition.
The motorcycle’s owner, Jolo Santos, 23, a fast-food crew member, only discovered the theft at around 5 p.m.
He later proceeded to MPD Blumentritt precinct, where responding officers quickly launched a follow-up operation.
Recovered from the suspects were the stolen motorcycle with key and its detached license plate number.
The suspects were brought to the Blumentritt PCP for initial processing and were later turned over to the MPD Station Investigation Section.
