High school teacher shot dead inside computer shop

BACOLOD CITY – A 48-year-old high school teacher was gunned down inside a computer shop in Purok Lubi, Barangay 3 here on Tuesday, May 13.

Police Major Eugene Tolentino, head of Police Station 2, identified the victim as Rex, 48, of Bago City, Negros Occidental.
Tolentino said the victim was playing a game in a computer when an unidentified gunman entered and shot him.
The victim succumbed to a lone bullet wound in the shoulder that exited through his back.
Despite many customers inside, no other injuries were reported, as the victim was the only target of the suspect, according to Tolentino.
Tolentino said the victim had just visited someone in the area before playing. Recovered from the crime scene was a fired .45 caliber bullet.
Police are looking into personal grudges as possible motive behind the killing. Tolentino said that they already have a person of interest.
