I promise to do everything within my power to represent the voice of the Surigaonons in the capital.)
Rep. Gonzales' wife, Queenie Gonzales, wrote a similar message of thanks on Tuesday on her Facebook wall. This isn't her first rodeo, having served as Mandaluyong congresswoman from 2016 to 2019 when she held the position of deputy majority leader.
Maraming maraming salamat po! Anim (6) na taon po akong hindi naka-pwesto sa kahit anong posisyon sa bayan…ngunit napaka-init pa rin po ng pagtanggap ninyo sa akin (For six years, I have not held any position in public office… yet your warm welcome remains unwavering).
I am touched and overwhelmed with your trust and love, still, Queenie said. Rep. Gonzales has also served his third and final term.

(A big thank you as well to all our barangay and purok leaders who worked hard for our victory. You can rest assured that we will double our efforts in providing genuine service to the people of Bukidnon and Mindanao.)
