6 hurt in multiple-vehicle collision in Quezon City

  • A four-vehicle collision stalled traffic along the Quezon Avenue Tunnel in EDSA, Quezon City. 

Six individuals were hurt in a four-vehicle collision on the Epifanio Delos Santos Avenue (EDSA) Quezon Avenue tunnel in Quezon City on Wednesday morning, May 14. 

The incident occurred around 5:40 a.m. near Barangay South Triangle, involving a motorcycle, a bus, and two UV express vehicles.

According to the report, the UV express drivers were arguing and a police officer was trying to restrain them when a bus suddenly hit the vehicles. 

The injured individuals, including the police officer, were immediately brought to the hospital for immediate treatment. 

Authorities have yet to release the identities of the wounded persons.  

Meanwhile, the bus driver has been placed under police custody while investigation is ongoing.
