San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora vowed to make his campaign promises a reality following his win as the city's top chief executive for his third and final term on Tuesday, May 13.

"Maliwanag po ang naging desisyon ng lungsod ng San Juan at ito ay ang ipagpatuloy po ang ating Makabagong San Juan. Kaya ako po ay lubos na nagpapasalamat sa lahat ng patuloy na nagmamahal, nagtitiwala, at sumusuporta saatin (The decision of the city of San Juan is very clear and that is to continue our vision of a makabagong San Juan. I am truly grateful to everyone who continuously showed their love, trust, and support for me)," Zamora said in a TV interview.
"Ito na ang last term natin kaya I really want to finish strong. Marami ho tayong tatapusin ngayong third term natin and in fact, actually nakaprogram na ang mga ito at inaantay nalang natin malift yung election ban dahil inabutan kasi tayo nung election ban (We really want to finish strong now as it is our last term. We still have a lot to finish in our third term and in fact, all of these are already programmed to commence. We're just waiting for the election ban to be lifted)," he added.
The mayor explained some of these programs include the construction of several new government facilities and housing projects for the people of San Juan.
Zamora achieved a landslide victory against his rival, Philip Cezar, after receiving 57,998 votes.
Vice Mayor Angelo "AAA" Agcaoili and Zamora's sister, Rep. Bel Zamora, retained their posts after receiving 48,600 and 44,545 votes, respectively.
