“Very happy lang kasi, karamihan do’n sa team namin no’ng high school nag-continue rito sa college, malaking factor sya sa ginagalaw namin ngayon kasi kilalang-kilala namin ‘yong bawat isa,” said Belen, who alongside Solomon, Pangilinan and Toring gunning for their third UAAP crown.
But for Sherwin Meneses, the job is far from over and the daunting task has just begun.
“Lagi kong sinasabi ko sa kanila ‘yong close out talaga ‘yong pinakamahirap,” said Meneses. “Kailangan magpakapagod kami, mag-focus sa ginagawa namin, and syempre pinakamahalaga is ‘di mawala sa focus… recover lang palagi.”
The Lady Spikers will be leaning on their main weapons in Angel Canino and Shevana Laput along with Amie Provido, Alleiah Malaluan, Mikole Reyes, and Lilay Del Castillo and all under the guidance of Ramil de Jesus.
