Mayor Honey accepts public's decision with gratitude after election results

Lacuna noted that the elections are now over and that another chapter in democracy has unfolded, emphasizing that election day is a time when people from all walks of life have equal power.
She also thanked the people of Manila for the opportunity and privilege to serve as the city’s first female mayor.
"Buong pagpapakumbaba kong ipinagkakapuri ang malaking karangalan na ipinagkaloob ninyo sa akin (With utmost humility, I take pride in the great honor you have given me)," the mayor expressed.
"Mula noon at magpahanggang ngayon, taas noo nating inaalay ang tapat at totoong serbisyo sa mamamayang Manileño. Habambuhay kong handog sa inyo ang pagmamahal ng isang ina at kalinga ng isang doktora (From then until now, we proudly offer sincere and honest service to the people of Manila. For the rest of my life, I dedicate to you the love of a mother and the care of a doctor)," she added.
Over her three-year term, she launched several flagship programs like Kalinga sa Maynila, bringing essential city services closer to the city's 897 barangays, and worked to reduce the city’s debt.
