I’ve always been fond of HyperX products. I know they’re good and reliable, and they’re quite affordable for the performances they provide. I've been using a HyperX Cloud since 2016 and an Alloy FPS keyboard in the same year. Both continue to work perfectly fine despite all my years in typing, sound trippin, and gaming with those accessories.
Now, I know the Haste 2 Mini is not exactly a new product. It’s been around for a while. But it’s still something I think deserves a look into, especially for any one hunting for a new mouse out there.
The Haste 2 Mini has up to 100 hours of battery power, 26,000 DPI, which is perfect for the recent Oblivion Remastered or better yet, Doom: The Dark Ages.
Thus far, I don’t see or have had any physical issues when using any of the grips, be it a palm grip, fingertip grip, or a claw grip, the Haste 2 remained comfortable and easy to use. Although if it helps, I am primarily a palm grip.
Button travels are low and fast, the sounds when clicking are snappy. It’s a delight to use the mouse while in and out of gaming. In fact, with the recent launch of the Oblivion Remastered, I’ve had my chance to use the Haste 2 Mini. Then, of course, this mouse will go through some serious testing with the new Doom game.
It’s made with all plastic but there are zero creaks and cracks as you use it. The scroll wheel is excellent and has a great feel with it. Scrolling through in-game inventories or cycling through weapons have been smooth and precise.
You can control RGB lighting with HyperX’s own NGENUITY software, which also allows you to customize other HyperX products’ RGB, macro keys, and DPI adjustments.
The HyperX Pulsefire Haste 2 Mini is just right for its price. It’s affordable and comes in ready for battle the moment you rip it out of the box. This mouse gets two thumbs up from us.
