Francis Zamora wins 3rd term as San Juan mayor

  • Zamora received 43,894 votes while his rival, Philip Cezar, received 6,309 votes in Comelec's partial and unofficial tally as of 8:02 a.m. of May 13.
San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora re-elected for a third and final term on Monday, May 12.
The Commission on Elections (Comelec) said Zamora achieved a landslide victory against Philip Cezar in the city's mayoralty race.
Zamora received 43,894 votes while Cezar received 6,309 votes in Comelec's partial and unofficial tally as of 8:02 a.m. of May 13.
Incumbent Vice Mayor Angelo "AAA" Agcaoili was also reelected after his win against Candy Crisologo.
Agcaoili received 36,911 votes while Crisologo received 10,577 votes.
Zamora's sister, San Juan City Rep. Bel Zamora, also retains her post in the House of Representatives with 33,775 votes, against Jana Ejercito with 16,869 votes.
