A day after the 2025 elections, incumbent Bulacan Governor Daniel Fernando and Vice Governor Alex Castro were officially proclaimed as winners by the Provincial Board of Canvassers at the Hiyas Pavilion Center in Bulacan on Tuesday afternoon, May 13.

- In their victory speech, Fernando and Castro vowed to continue pushing for progress in Bulacan.
Fernando secured a total of 1,177,893 votes, while his closest rivals, Wilhelmino Sy-Alvarado, and Salvador Violago, garnered 227,194 and 226,204 votes, respectively.
For vice governor, Alex Castro won with 1,360,020 votes, far ahead of Elmer Paguio, who received 154,644 votes.
In their victory speech, Fernando and Castro vowed to continue pushing for progress in Bulacan.
"Our continued service for the people of Bulacan includes providing free medical services to villages, especially to the needy, more scholarships to our students, and supporting our farmers. We will double or triple our efforts for more development in our province," they added.
They expressed gratitude to the people of Bulacan for their trust, pledging to deliver “genuine public service every day.”
"Tapos na po ang halalan kaya magsama-sama na tayo at magkaisa para sa patuloy na pagpapaunlad ng ating lalawigan at antas ng buhay ng bawa't Bulakenyo (The elections are over so let's come together and unite for the continued development of our province and the quality of life of every Bulakenyo),” he said.
“Sa mga hindi naniniwala sa amin, maniniwala man kayo o hindi, mahal po namin kayo (To those who do not believe in us, whether you believe it or not, we love you)," Fernando added.
Also proclaimed on Tuesday were the winners in Bulacan’s congressional races:
Danny Domingo (1st District)
Tina Pancho (2nd District)
Cholo Violago (3rd District)
Agatha Paula Cruz (5th District)
Salvador Pleyto (6th District)
Linabelle Ruth Vilarica (4th District) and Arthur Robes (Lone District, San Jose Del Monte) were also declared winners, though they were not present during the proclamation.
Mona Ann Campos, Provincial Election Supervisor and chairperson of the Board of Canvassers, led the proclamation ceremony.
Meanwhile, in Hagonoy town, Charo Sy-Alvarado of Lakas-CMD won the mayoralty race with 25,368 votes.
