In a report to DPWH Secretary Manuel Bonoan, the South Manila District Engineering Office (SMDEO) said the repairs will affect the southbound lanes fronting the DLTB Co. terminal, with completion targeted by August 2025.
Mobilization will start on May 14 at 10 p.m. along Trece de Agosto to Buendia Avenue to allow the delivery of equipment and initial site preparations.
Motorists are advised to expect traffic congestion and take alternate routes during the construction period.
DPWH assured that all affected lanes will be reopened to traffic once the repairs are completed.
The initiative forms part of the Marcos administration’s “Build Better More” infrastructure program, which aims to enhance road safety and improve transport connectivity across Metro Manila.
