And despite the presence of a priority polling precinct for senior citizens, persons with disabilities (PWDs), and pregnant women, some of them reportedly had to proceed to their regular precincts on upper floors due to long queues at the designated lane.
During the early hours of voting, an automated counting machine (ACM) reportedly malfunctioned, causing it to eject a ballot immediately after being inserted.
According to the Commission on Elections (Comelec), Nagpayong Elementary School has the highest number of registered voters nationwide, with 47,249 voters.
