Malabon, Navotas, Valenzuela mayoral aspirants cast their votes

Mayoral candidates in the cities of Malabon and Navotas expressed hope for a clean and peaceful elections.

Mayoral candidates from Malabon, Navotas and Valenzuela Cities cast their votes on Monday, May 12, and expressed hope for a clean and peaceful election.

Navotas City incumbent mayor and re-electionist John Rey Tiangco cast his vote at Navotas Elementary School together with his wife and children.

He also filed a certificate of challenge after his vote receipt showed an overvote.

Meanwhile, Malabon City Mayor Jeannie Sandoval cast her vote at Amang Rodriguez Elementary School in Barangay Baritan, Malabon City.

Incumbent Congresswoman and mayoral aspirant Jaye Lacson-Noel also voted at Dela Paz Elementary School.

In Valenzuela City, incumbent Mayor Weslie “Wes” Gatchalian officially cast his vote at Canumay West Elementary School on Monday, May 12, accompanied by his wife.
