Las Pinas City records smooth electoral process

  • The Las Pinas City Police said the conduct of National and Local Election in the city is going smoothly.

The Las Piñas City police reported that the conduct of the midterm elections in the city started smoothly smoothly.

Incumbent Las Piñas City Mayor Imelda Aguilar is running for vice mayor while two of her daughters - incumbent vice mayor April Aguilar is running for mayor, while Alelee Aguilar-Andanar, wife of former Press Secretary Martin Andanar, is running for Councilor.

Las Piñas City Police chief Col. Sandro Tafaalla said policemen were deployed to a total of 31 polling precincts and 365 cluster precincts to ensure the orderly and smooth conduct of the election in the city.

Tafalla said a police briefing was held to ensure a coordinated security coverage throughout the electoral process.
