Incumbent Las Piñas City Mayor Imelda Aguilar is running for vice mayor while two of her daughters - incumbent vice mayor April Aguilar is running for mayor, while Alelee Aguilar-Andanar, wife of former Press Secretary Martin Andanar, is running for Councilor.
Las Piñas City Police chief Col. Sandro Tafaalla said policemen were deployed to a total of 31 polling precincts and 365 cluster precincts to ensure the orderly and smooth conduct of the election in the city.
Tafalla said a police briefing was held to ensure a coordinated security coverage throughout the electoral process.
