Former senator and ML (Mamamayang Liberal) Partylist first nominee Leila de Lima has cast has successfully her vote on Monday, May 12, describing the experience as "orderly and systematic" despite minor automated counting machine (ACM) issues.

De Lima was one of the voters who flocked to a mall in Parañaque City to vote. She arrived at Precinct 0648A around 12:30 p.m.
Despite minor hiccups with the ACM that briefly delayed the line, she said her votes were recorded swiftly and accurately.
"The voting in those precincts were orderly and systematic," she said.
The former senator likewise shared her experience on her social media account.
"Para sa Hustisya at Reporma. Para sa bayan. Tuloy ang laban (For justice and reform. For the country, the fight continues)!," she wrote on X.
This marks De Lima's second attempt at running for a national position after her failed senatorial bid in 2022.
ML Partylist, a multisectoral arm of the Liberal Party, is participating for the first time in the national elections. It is running under a platform focused on social justice, partylist reform, and the rights of underprivileged sectors.
