A video showed him greeting people who were in line to vote as he arrived in the school. Others stopped him for a selfie.
Aquino then proceeded to the end of the line for Precinct No. 0225A under Cluster 90.
The former senator voted at around 9:40 a.m. on Monday.
“Very, very good. Hope we can do this. Voted. Bumoto rin po kayo (Go out and vote, too),” he told the media when asked how he felt about the elections.
The senatorial candidate mentioned that the vote counting machine had a technical glitch, which took it four tries before accepting his ballot.
Aquino shared that he will be monitoring the results of the elections in his house.
He also posted a photo of him and his wife, Timi, on Facebook. “Para sa Pilipinas!,” he captioned the post, followed by a Philippine flag emoji.
