Ahn Hyo-seop, Lee Min-ho, Jisoo star in film 'The Prophet: Omniscient Reader'

Ahn Hyo-seop and Lee Min-ho are starring in the upcoming Korean film “The Prophet: Omniscient Reader” that will be released in July.

The film also stars Jisoo, Chae Soo-Bin, Shin Seung-Ho, Park Ho-San, Nana, and Choi Young-Joon.

The character posters and teaser trailer for the action fantasy film was released on May 12.

“The Prophet: Omniscient Reader” is about a novel that has been serialized for over 10 years but on the day that it ends, the world within the novel becomes a reality.

And the only reader, Kim Dok-ja (Ahn Hyo-seop) must survive in the destroyed world along with the novel’s main character, Yoo Joong-hyuk (Lee Min-ho) and his colleagues.

The line “Why did the world end up like this?” by Yoo Joong-hyuk heightens anticipation for how the world of the novel that has become reality will unfold on the screen.

Jisoo is Lee Ji-hye, a high school student who calls Yoo Jung-hyuk her master and follows him, appears in front of the group and says, "In this world, only the strong survive."

“The Prophet: Omniscient Reader” will be released in July.
